1. Information We Collect
2. How We Use It
- To confirm, schedule, and carry out the siphoning or pumping service you requested;
- To contact you about confirmations, delays, or follow-ups, including emergency dispatch;
- To prepare quotes;
- To keep basic job records for future bookings and quality control;
- To display approved reviews and gallery photos on the site;
- To improve the site and respond to general inquiries.
3. Photos & Reviews
Our crew may photograph the tank or work area before/after a job, mainly to confirm work performed and for our gallery. We avoid capturing faces or anything that clearly identifies your address. If we'd like to feature your job where it could identify you or your property, we'll ask first. Reviews you submit (name, rating, comment) may be shown publicly on the site once approved.
4. Sharing Your Information
We don't sell your personal information. We only share it with:
- our crew and dispatch team, so they can carry out the booked service;
- service providers who help run the site (hosting, messaging tools), under confidentiality obligations; and
- government authorities, if required by law or a valid legal order.
5. Data Retention
We keep booking and job records for as long as reasonably needed for warranty claims, follow-up bookings, and legal/tax obligations, then securely delete or anonymize them.
6. Data Security
We apply reasonable safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure. No online system is fully secure, so please only share what's needed to complete your booking.
7. Cookies & Site Preferences
The site may use basic cookies or local storage to remember preferences (like your light/dark theme choice) and understand how visitors use the site. You can clear these in your browser settings, though some features may work less smoothly.
8. Your Rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you can:
- be informed that your personal data is being processed;
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or outdated data;
- object to or request deletion of your data, subject to legal/contractual limits; and
- lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults arranging home or business septic services. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The date above always reflects the current version.
